You are probably reading this because you are about to make some big and exciting decisions about your future.
You may be trying to decide which career will be right for you, which course or apprenticeship you should follow
to give you the best chance of success and importantly where you want to study.

In 2011 Leek College students were more successful than ever in gaining their places at university and
100% of students passed their A Level equivalent work skills courses.
At the end of term 82% of students had already gained employment, including via Higher Apprenticeships allowing them to study at
Foundation Degree level while earning a living
Many of our dedicated and talented teaching staff have relevant experience in industry and will help you find the right course that will set you on the right
path to achieve your goals.

Safeguarding Statement
Leek College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Parents can feel confident that careful procedures are in place to ensure that all
staff and volunteers are suitable to work with young people.
Staff hope that parents and young people will feel free to talk about any concerns or worries which may affect
educational progress and that they will see the College as a safe place.
Young people will be taken seriously if they seek help from a member of staff.
Parents will normally be consulted and their consent obtained before any referral is made to an agency outside the College under local “young people in need” procedures.
However, staff cannot guarantee to consult parents first, or to keep young people’s concerns confidential,
if referral must be made to the appropriate agencies in order to safeguard the young person’s welfare.
